The "strategy" ignores that many can not walk, or avail themselves to the various modes of transportation favored by the city. This is short sighted as well as discriminatory.

Dear Commissioners and staff - Maybe I missed it but I do not see any reference for parking standards for those of us with disabilities who cannot ride a bike and whose mobility scooters require a car to transport. If your plan is to exclude those of us with disabilities, it is unfair and frankly unwise, as we have money to spend too. I encourage you to plan for those folks who must drive and therefore park. People with blue placards cannot use it when there are no designated parking spaces. The elimination of loading zones has made the situation worse as well. Please rethink your plan and treat disabled people with some acknowledgment and respect. Thank you.
