T St and Stockton is the most dangerous intersection for anyone biking into to downtown from the neighborhoods via T. I fully support the effort to make this intersection safer for cyclists.

Currently, if I want to continue down T St headed towards Elmhurst, I have to split the lanes to get to the front of traffic because many cars turn on red and/or turn right without looking when the light is green. Unfortunately, splitting the lane is less dangerous than staying in the current bike lane.

I have been trying to get the city to improve safety for bicycles traveling east on T across Stockton for many years, as I bike this way often. Working first with Jennifer Donlon Wyant directly and then with the Stockton Boulevard Corridor Plan workshops. I'm glad to finally see some actual plans in print, but there are omissions from what was discussed.
    1) Is street parking to be eliminated on T between 35th ST and Stockton? I do not see this in the plans.
    2) We had discussed the necessity of a Bike Box at the stop line on eastbound T ST. Current plans do not reflect this and leave bike riders to
jockey with cars in the right turn lane. This remains unsafe and especially dangerous in heavy rush hour traffic. There needs to be a Bike Box where riders can queue up at the red light, then proceed across Stockton safely ahead of auto traffic.
    3) The Corridor Plan also recommended eliminating the left turn from T ST east to Stockton north. I do not see this in the plans.
