I support the Council's adoption of this budget that saved 26 park maintenance workers jobs, that kept the aquatics and the wading pools afloat, and prioritized youth and violence prevention. Thank you to the council members for their thoughtful and passionate support of mental and physical well-being for Sacramento residents. In these difficult economic times, parks and pools provide a respite for those who don't have the privilege of getting out of town to beat the heat. Shout out to Eric Guerra, my Council Member, thank you in particular.
