South Sacramento is already resource-strained: fewer grocery stores, fewer healthcare facilities, blighted lots, broken roads, and decades of underinvestment.
This is not about attacking people experiencing homelessness. They deserve real solutions.
But why is the concentration of homeless sites always here — while more politically and economically powerful neighborhoods are spared?
Billions have been directed statewide to address homelessness. Audits have raised serious concerns about accountability and measurable results.
Before placing three more sites in South Sacramento, answer this:
    Where is the transparency?
    Where is the infrastructure investment?
    Where is the measurable plan?
Where are the equivalent sites in more affluent neighborhoods?
    Equity means shared responsibility.
We are not asking to be excluded.
    We are demanding fairness.
