I live in Sacramento, do not drive, and walk in midtown almost daily where I routinely witness or experience dangerous vehicles and their drivers. I’ve had to stop or backup in crosswalks to avoid cars turning right on red. Almost daily I witness cars speeding excessively and/or running red lights and stop signs. Too many drivers seem to be distracted and/or oblivious to pedestrians. I support the measures to improve pedestrian safety in the 2025 Sacramento Active Transportation Commission Annual Report.
