Hello Mayor and City Council Members,
My name is Jaime Torres, I am a resident of District 3 and proud to be an advocate to this project. As the world has been driven to a hyperfocus of online shopping, the needs for logistics centers in the area continue to grow. The location of the proposed property is second to none, with access to the Airport and Interstate corridors is a responsible answer to these demands. This site will create jobs for community members work during the construction process and develop Apprenticeship opportunities for people joining the construction industry with fringe benefit avaliable to them and their families, as well as jobs for the facilities once the doors are open. Thus employees pumping money back into our local economy. Plus the Natomas Unified School District will have an augmentation of property tax contributions from this site. This will empower the Schools. The children and grandchildren of some of those who stand in opposition to this project will also benefit from new souce of income. I want to have the city I call home to be considered by investors and developers.
Thank you for your time and consideration on this valuable growth opportunity for the City of Sacramento.
Dear Sacramento City Council Members,
I am writing to oppose the proposed City annexation of the Airport South Industrial Project (ASI). I oppose the project's scope and location because the resulting pollution would disproportionately impact children's health and Sacramento's overall greenhouse gas emissions. The placement of this project would encourage more residential sprawl, resulting in traffic and unnecessary Vehicle Miles Traveled. This runs contrary to the City’s vision to make new housing compact, efficient, and cimate-friendly. There are alternatives for fulfillment centers, such as Metro Air Park. Please stay true to your commitment in the General Plan to “conserve open space, reduce vehicle miles traveled, and improve air quality” and do NOT approve this project. Thank you.
As I've stated previously, as a resident, parent, and concerned citizen, I strongly oppose the development of this light industrial set up so close to the school and residential area. Kids will be breathing this air as they go to school. The setback needs to increase to at least a mile or the city needs to use infill land. Destroying valuable habitat and increasing pollution for residents and schoolkids is unacceptable.
I am support of the project. It will create so many jobs in the union for my brothers and sisters
I support this project as a member of the Union, knowing my brothers and sisters will have local work and their families be supported financially and medically with the benefits included with Union workforce. This project gives local younger generations a chance to join an apprenticeship and earn as they learn.
Not Enough Road Or Infrastructure to support this. I5 is already a parking lot.
I support this project. Union has been their for me and my Family.
I am writing to strongly recommend NorthPoint Development and their proposed Airport South project. After careful review of the projected impacts and benefits, it is clear that this development represents a vital opportunity for our community’s economic future.
The potential economic contributions of the Airport South project are substantial and transformative. At full buildout, the creation of approximately 5,400 long-term jobs will provide stable employment for thousands of our residents, strengthening the local workforce and reducing commute times for many families. Furthermore, the project is estimated to generate 3,700 construction job-years, offering significant work for our local trades and stimulating the economy during the development phases.
Beyond employment, the direct financial benefits to our public institutions are undeniable. The project is projected to contribute over $10 million annually in tax revenue to the city. This influx of funds is critical for maintaining and improving essential city services, infrastructure, and public safety. Additionally, the payment of over $4 million in fees to the Unified School District will provide much-needed resources to support our students and educators, an investment that will pay dividends for generations.
I understand that development projects of this scale often face opposition, but I urge decision-makers to weigh these concerns against the tangible, long-term prosperity this project offers. Missing out on this opportunity would be a significant loss for our community’s growth and stability. NorthPoint Development has demonstrated a commitment to delivering a project that not only meets market demands but also serves the broader public interest.
I wholeheartedly support the approval and advancement of the Airport South project and believe it is the right step forward for our city.
Sincerely,
Matt Tornay

I fully support the Airport South Industrial construction project. This development represents a major opportunity for our local economy, bringing new jobs, increased business activity, and long term economic stability to the region. Its strategic location near the airport will help attract new companies, improve logistics efficiency, and strengthen our area’s position as a hub for commerce and innovation.
Projects like this not only expand our tax base but also create ripple effects for local suppliers, contractors, and small businesses. Overall, the Airport South Industrial project is a smart investment in our community’s future, and I’m excited to see the positive impact it will bring.
This will be a great project for jobs and needed space for our community. It will help keep cost down for all of us, by providing space for the large retail stores to keep there items closer to their stores.
Please Support!!
This project is going to be great for the area. This will bring much needed tax revenue, high paying jobs and careers. Let's make this happen!
Dear Sacramento City Council Members,
I’m writing to express my support for the proposed warehouse projects in our city. These developments will bring significant benefits to Sacramento, including job creation for local residents in logistics, management, and operations roles. The projects will also expand our tax base, providing additional revenue for essential city services without increasing the burden on existing residents.
Furthermore, modern warehouse facilities will strengthen Sacramento’s position as a regional distribution hub, improving supply chain efficiency and potentially reducing costs for local businesses and consumers. The infrastructure improvements that typically accompany these developments—upgraded roads, utilities, and transportation access—will benefit the broader community as well.
This project will increase traffic , noise, pollution and affect a neighboring school and community.
Natomas growth is needed but in a more positive and sustainable way. This will only lead to business owners and professionals to flee Natomas to other neighboring communities in Davis and Roseville leaving Natomas worse then what this project brings
This project will bring in much needed revenue for the city, please vote yes.
Please support this project
Apoyo este proyecto para que genere más empleos

I strongly support the Airport South Industrial project. This development is a major opportunity for the community, bringing thousands of stable jobs, substantial tax revenue, and critical support for our local schools.
