I am speaking on behalf of the landowners at #0000 Bayou Way, whose interests will be affected by the development proposal being put forth by NorthPoint Development, the related Airport South Industrial Project, the proposed incorporation of large swath of land into the City of Sacramento, etc. I/we would like to see that the roadway access to our land that has existed up to this point remains preserved. Under the current development proposal, the one being put forth by NorthPoint Development, that would no longer be the case. This proposal, while perhaps generally beneficial to us, would have it that the section of Bayou Way, east from our property towards the commercial storage facility, be closed, as it apparently does not meet current City of Sacramento roadway standards. This would mean that our property would only be accessible from the west. Needless to say, losing access from the east would significantly and negatively affect the usability of our land, and thereby degrade its overall value. We would ask that you reconsider this aspect of NorthPoint’s proposal, and demand that they put forth a roadway proposal that does not negatively impact our land and associated interests.
Thank you,
Jed Harris
