    I oppose this idea.

This area has no amenities within walking distance and no public transit to support the proposed community dwellers.

If it goes through, visitor parking should be limited to 2 hours and the overall appearance of the housing development needs to abide by rules similar to that of an HOA so that the existing housing surrounding it does not lose value due to this new homeless development.

Furthermore, what will be done to prevent excess people gathering and making noise and participating in illicit activity? Sure, on paper this may be 55+, but how will this be enforced when the seniors have the next two or three generations of their family living with them, sucking up resources that taxpayers are subsidizing?

Will residents forfeit their lease and be evicted for violating laws, noise ordinances, cleanliness standards, etc? Our tax dollars would be subsidizing this, so it would only fair be to limit this opportunity to those that are respectful, responsible members of the community - not entitled abusers of the system.

    1. I appreciate the 24/7 on-site security and hope this can be a successful senior community. Will there also be rules that:
    a. Restrict off-site parking to 24-hrs or less so there are no RV’s or cars gathering around the site.
    b. Require renters to agree to not panhandle or loiter in the area. (note: when housing was provided in San Francisco, it was discovered that many unhoused folks still spent the daytime loitering and panhandling on the streets).
    2. What will be done to ensure this community has nice visual appeal from the street? We request there be abundant & visually-appealing landscaping along the street frontages.
    3. What rules will ensure that this tiny home community, its residents, and their visitors are good neighbors to the surrounding community? Who will maintain the site and ensure it has a clean, nice street appeal now & in future years?
    4. There needs to be a clear process for addressing potential problems with any resident. Will a resident lose their tiny home lease if it is found the resident committed theft, vandalism, abused drugs, or caused any other problems? That should be the rule.
    5. What is the process for resolving neighboring community complaints, if they occur? Will there be a max timeframe for responding to, and resolving neighborhood complaints? Who is the contact entity for resolving neighborhood concerns?
    6. Natomas has no public services and very minimal public transit. What will the City do to provide mental health and other services, including transit, to residents?
    7. How long do the resident leases last for?
    8. What process will be in place to assist residents who no longer want to reside in the tiny homes and want to return to living a nomadic life style? How will you prevent those former residents form ending up on the streets of Natomas?

The spot at arena and El Camino does not have acessible services near the site. There is no public transportation, medical facilities, clothing options or any other services needed within walking distance for the elderly folks you intend to house.

Why are misdemeanor violations via homeless continuously ignored by the city? Homeless can urinate anywhere they please, dump trash and hazardous waste wherever and the city will continue to clean up after them, via tax payer dollars and NOT enforce laws as written. Homeless have a free pass to commit unlimited misdemeanors. Meanwhile actual tax payers and actual voting residents would be
penalized in an instant if they conducted in the same behavior.

    It’s a giant hypocrisy.
