Excited to see this, fully support! A few questions and comments on minor details:
1) It’s noted shared-use paths and public right-of-way sidewalks are not YPCE jurisdiction. Is the street-side planter strip? If so, please consider language prioritizing trees there (urban heat island effect, shading sidewalk for walkers, etc), if not please consider reducing mandatory setbacks in Appendix E “Trees”.
2) Please consider prioritizing tree planting near paths (Appendix E; generally)
3) Is YPCE responsible for street design and/or maintenance within parks?
4) If parking did not contribute to approved park budget revenue (FY 23/24) is there expectation it will be in the future or is that the purview of the Parking Division?
Thanks for your consideration and all the work that’s gone into this document!
