The TRIPLE CPI adjustment being proposed for Broker businesses is onerous and an undue burden on small business. If the City is looking to adjust for inflation from 1991, Broker businesses flat rate should adjust from $100 to $228, NOT to $684. Approximately half of the Realtor Brokers in our area are offices with only a few agents. This is an unfair increase in our license fee and will harm small business owners who are already overly burdened. Small business owners are struggling. Please adjust the flat rate fee to Brokers by CPI (to $228) and not TRIPLE that amount. Extremely unfair!!
