Public Works has demonstrated yet again that they cannot be trusted to follow through with designing safe streets if it slows car traffic. Lane reductions should never have been taken off the table and yet Public Works has decided that cars are more important than people, citing that 'some people didn't like that option, so we're just going to screw over the entire neighborhood's safety so that they won't be mad'.
