I strongly support slow streets and opening up streets to people (pedestrians, cyclists, strollers, families, etc.) by closing them to cars. I’d love the city to set a goal of opening up a percentage of its streets to people — even 2% for people to 98% for cars would be a huge benefit!
I support 'open streets' also known as Slow Streets—closing streets to motor vehicles and opening them to pedestrians, bicyclists, and generally, humans. We should open a lot more streets in Sacramento. There are enough streets for cars in this city!
