RE: Albright Village
Chair Covill and Commissioners
As a longtime resident of midtown Sacramento I wish to express my support for the Albright Village project which is item 3 on this evening’s agenda. This development is exactly the type of housing Midtown needs. It is creative, well-designed and offers a type of housing that is not seen much in Midtown – homes for families. Both the development team (Katherine Bardis and Bay Miry) and the design team (BSB Design) are top notch and have created a product that will enhance our midtown neighborhood and add to its vibrancy.

I support the APPEAL and oppose the APPROVAL of the project. I am a neighbhor that lives on the same block as this development. The developers have not listened to the neighbors and the city is showing preferential treatment to developers rather than the residents of the neighborhood that would be affected by this development.
The inward-facing houses will negatively affect the neighborhood's curb appeal and not promote neighborhood cohesion. The project should implement a higher density allowed by the general plan and zoning.
