Gifting items to a governmental entity must generally pass a ethics review board due to potential conflicts of interest, etc.
I propose gifting a Peace Pole to be permanently emplaced in the center of a City maintained, unused grassy area at the intersection of 58th and J Streets, East Sacramento. I propose this Peace Pole to be formally gifted/dedicated to the Saint Francis High School community - the past, present and future Troubadours, parents, teachers, support staff and surrounding community. I envision a low/no maintenance walking labyrinth to be crafted by volunteers with the Peace Pole is be set in the center of the labyrinth and a sitting bench to be placed at each of the outermost four direction points.
