In general, I support the roadway changes identified on the map, though I'm not familiar with all of the locations. Lane reductions and conversions have clear safety and comfort benefits for bicyclists, and other roadways users. However, I would hope that the inclusion of these projects in the general plan does not imply that these are all that will be done over the 20 year period of the plan. There must be a mechanism for identifying, and prioritizing, similar projects on an ongoing basis, perhaps every 5 years.
