I oppose the inclusion of our new home at 1748 Fern Glen Ave as a property in need of weed abatement. We just took ownership of it on Jan 13, 2020 and it has new landscaping installed by the builder and maintained by the homeowners' association. There are no weeds present - the property is neither vacant nor a nuisance property, language that is used in the repeated notices we are receiving from the city. It appears that inspection of the property pre-dated our move-in, and there is no apparent way to get a property removed from the list other than commenting here. I have also provided written comment to the City Clerk in a letter dated March 18, 2020.
