There have been several motions passed over the past 2 months, during the City Council meetings, where the City Council is ignoring its own policies and procedures, is modifying Ordinances without PUBLIC NOTICE, true evaluation and discussion. The voice of the City's constituents need more respect from their Representatives. The other things that needs to be a requirement on any agenda item or motion is the inclusion of current language vs. proposed language when changing Ordinances, Policies and Procedures. This allows the Council and the public to determine the true impact of their action being taken. Given Rosenberg's Rules, this must become a minimum requirement and should be mandated by the City Attorney and City Manager.
