But I have a few concerns: (1) Why were the residents that border McKinley park not informed about this proposal before hearing about it on TV? Why is our city council person not meeting with us to discuss first? (2) How and when will the city enforce the new parking code? How many times a day will they drive by the area? Will they take a picture of the license plates to ensure the cars just don't move down the street or around the corner after 3 hrs.? Or if they drive away for lunch and come back after lunch? (3) What does the city plan to do when these cars start parking on 34th street? (4) Nobody should be allowed to park next to the park after 11 PM for safety/security reasons. (5) The city only gives the residents on 33rd street ONE parking permit pass to allow our friends and relatives to park in front of our homes. With this new proposal, where can our friends/relatives park without getting a parking ticket? Respectfully, Ann Broderick, 609 33rd Street
