My name is Marc Robles and I am a citizen from Hagginwood and a recent City retiree. I am writing to oppose the issuance of bonds to secure homeless funding. I did not vote for Measure U to spend the lion's share on homeless issues and strongly support funding City buildings and infrastructure that is crumbling. Staff that spent hundreds of hours to open the Railroad Dr. shelter work in buildings with leaking roofs and cramped conditions. I know because I worked there. The City has this opportunity with budget surpluses ( despite the FY18 prediction of a deficit) to upgrade and invest in it's buildings and other assets. Please don't lose this opportunity.
