Thank you for the opportunity for me to express my support of the extension of the Sacramento River Parkway. I have lived in the Pocket area for over 50 years and still ride my bicycle. I have looked forward to being able to ride downtown along the levee for many years. I hope the trail will be completed in my lifetime. I support fair compensation for the property owners along the levee and close attention to their safety concerns. Even those of us who do not live next to river are dealing with crime and homeless persons, which should be addressed as a separate matter.
