My name is Noel Kammermann, executive director of Loaves & Fishes. I am writing to the city council in support of Funding Operations of the North 5th Street Shelter. With the increasing number of people experiencing homelessness in our community due to the housing crisis and other factors, it is critical that we continue existing shelters to help our most vulnerable community members navigate from a situation of homelessness, to permanent housing of their very own.
