To the Honorable Mayor and City Council Representatives,
Because I could not come to the council meeting today, I wanted to submit a comment concerning the Declaration of a Shelter Crisis item you will voting on in close sessions. Constituents in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood did not want the triage open but when it was they have accepted it for they time it has been there. Unfortunately its obvious we cannot trust the Mayor to be truthful about his plans as to how he attends to keep this center opened indefinitely. I believe this declaration is the first step in him achieving his goal. I hope Rep. Warren and Carr see that in order to protect the interest of their constituents, they need to make it clear the center needs to be shut and other neighborhoods other then Meadowview and Del Paso will house any more homeless population.
