My name is Yvonne Wilke. I am not a resident of Sacramento but love the city. On Oct 15th myself with many others will participate in the International Wave of Light. In October 1988 President Ronald Reagan declared October as National Pregnancy/ Infant loss Awareness Month. October 15th at 7pm everyone worldwide in different time zones join together in lighting a candle therefore creating a wave effect. Several cities have join in on this day and are lighting up in their cities. Such places as City Hall's, Niagara Falls, the pillars at LAX for example. I was searching for a place locally and have not found anywhere in N. California that participates. I thought to myself what about the I Street Bridge. This is the reason I am messaging. Would it be possible at 7 p.m. on October 15th to light up the I Street Bridge pink and blue in remembrance of this day? I understand if it's too late to consider this. If not maybe next year. Feel free to check out the website. www.october15th.com
