    I support the establishment of a “Measure U Community Investment Commission” comprised of 9 appointed members endowed with the power to formally provide recommendations to City Council for revenue allocations and investments.

    Proposed Commission Members:
    2 representatives of youth, faith-based, environmental justice or public health non-profit organizations that advocate for communities that are disproportionately impacted by institutional racism and community trauma.
    1 person with expertise/experience in housing affordability focused on renter advocacy.
    1 person with expertise in community trauma and mental health;
    1 person with experience/expertise in non-carceral community-based crime reduction.
    1 person with experience/expertise in the field of homelessness.
    1 person with experience/expertise in cooperative economic development.
    1 resident of a Sacramento Priority Neighborhood.
    1 resident of a Sacramento Priority Neighborhood age 24 years or younger at the time of appointment.
