    Dear Mayor/Council Members -
I urge the City Council to approve the Central City Specific Plan and Impact Fee ordinances and related documents. This is a well-thought out, balance initiative to respect the central city's character, while facilitating new housing growth needed to accommodate a new generation of Sacramentans and fulfill the vision of the SACOG Blue Print. It has benefitted from substantial neighborhood and public outreach. Sincerely, Alan LoFaso

On behalf of House Sacramento, an organization dedicated to increasing housing supply in our region, I would like to express my strong support for the Central City Specific Plan. Cities are organic places that change with time. Growth is both inevitable and entirely natural. This plan recognizes that the Central City defines our region, and the success of our region is dependent on a strong and vibrant core. This plan is able to accommodate growth while still providing protections for historic resources and initiating the financial resources to provide necessary infrastructure. Holistically, this plan is a beacon for accommodating future growth in other neighborhoods in our city and we look forward to applying the same principles outside the core.
