WE oppose the proposed staffing plan. The SPD didn't produce any documentation supporting their request for additional funds.
Per the report presented by Cpt. Dave Peralta the SWAT team was unavailable and unnecessary.
We oppose the approval of additional funds to the SPD department to work solely on illegal Residential Enforcement those officers need to be placed in Commercial Regulation. Per the departments own report - even after terrorizing hundreds of patients and residence the largest violations came from the already established operations.
4800 plants were received from 614 residence that equates to approximately 7.7 plants per residence. That is not justification for for additional policing of residential communities.. We oppose the staffing plan.
