My husband and I just purchased our first home and are new residents to the North Natomas community in the homes of Natomas Meadows. Across from our home is a vacant field on Juneberry Drive where illegal dumping is unfortunately commonplace. There is a terrible amount of litter, garbage, and waste material within the field as well as the road next to the field. There are three tires, an old washing machine, and my neighbor has seen a boat dumped as well. The large items dumped are an eye sore as well as a public health and fire hazard. My husband and I don't like to walk our dog on that side of the street because she has tried to eat some of the litter and she has also hurt her paw- all in one walk! There are children who play in the field and it is unsafe. I would like to see the large dumped items removed from the field and surrounding areas. I would also like to have the owner of the property be reminded of illegal dumping regulation. Thank you.
