Diversity will not work without inclusion and the proposal to monitor progress in Section 1 is critical to reaching diversity goals. Retention issues will be faced without the support listed Section 3, mentoring (woman AND man mentors), support/work groups, training for the majorities to INCLUDE minorities (not ONLY training for minorities to learn to fit in), and supporting paid family leave is critical for minorities and women to succeed in a workforce where they are underrepresented.
I support as well as commend the efforts to maintain accountability for gender pay equity.
